strawberry fields 0 Posted November 7, 2003 Hi Dennis, What can I say...brilliant image!!! It says "it" all. The composition in every respect is perfectly harmonious. Yet, I feel a sense of emptiness. Peter Link to comment

reed_caster 0 Posted November 17, 2003 Brilliant! Dennis, this photo could be a dozen different story lines. So many elements - what an eye. Link to comment

jh de beer 0 Posted September 21, 2006 This is a great photo, with natural light in natural surroundings, and according to Dennis is was not manipulated - which is a bonus. It is also and indication that every image does not have to be PS'ed to death to be able to reach the front page. Well done Dennis. The contrast between dark and light values reflects the contrast in this man, and I suppose so many other peoples lives, between the good and the bad. The joyful times set against the sad events. The light was obvious tricky, and I don't know how candid this shot was, and if reflectors etc were used. But it looks perfectly natural, and the lines in the wall to the left of the man takes him to a distant and unknown future - and I hope it will be good old man. Go well. JH Link to comment
roland_lacson 0 Posted October 12, 2006 I like how the image is divided with good thirds on the subject, perfect in monochrome. Well captured & composed Dennis. Link to comment
