Very thought provoking on several levels. I also like how he is looking off in the direction of the tower (or whatever) in the distance. Makes you wonder about him and what he's thinking. Nice eye!

With the shadows it makes you wonder what time he must have left home to get there. What time did you take the shot, morning or evening?

Afternone but sun is rather low this time of year here in Holland. I'm sure he had plenty of time to get home :-)
