tc_reed 0 Posted November 6, 2003 The frame and center of focus is not changed. Sorry. However, I did adjust the tone to lighten the area around the dandelions. Link to comment
jeff d 1 Posted November 7, 2003 I see they have blown your way. I am sending you 30 lbs. of Scotts weed-b-gon. Now go to work. I expect your next image to be devoid of these rascals. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted December 24, 2003 This is an unusual shot--the dark background really highlights the dandelions. Link to comment
tc_reed 0 Posted December 25, 2003 This was my first duotone piece. I really enjoy dandelions against a dark background. With the right lighting, they could have a crystaline look. All I have to do is find the right lighting. Not as easy as I thought it would be. Need to use a different lens too. Link to comment
johnlund 0 Posted May 25, 2004 I appreciate your choice of an overlooked common weed as subject matter. It's even neater that you captured them going to seed instead of the more obvious flower shots. But my favorite part is the stark, high-contrast look. Moody. The cropping is too tight for my tastes, crowding the left, bottom, and right sides of the frame. Link to comment
asimh 0 Posted June 13, 2004 of all your flower pics, i think this is my favorite. i like the starkness of the black background. Link to comment
tc_reed 0 Posted June 14, 2004 Thank you, Asim. I really love this flower. I wish I'd paid more attention to the bottom of the frame. It is a bit too crowded. But, I will be more careful now that I have had this brought to my attention. :) Link to comment
tc_reed 0 Posted September 21, 2004 Ya know, Paul, there is always the possibility that I may have been the shadow you thought you saw followed by a low level flash moments later somewhere on your property. But, maybe it wasn't me? :-) Link to comment
