billtootell 0 Posted June 2, 2001 I like this picture a lot. There's something in her expression that's enigmatic and intriguing. Good work. Thanks. - Bill Link to comment
rachel_dixon 0 Posted June 3, 2001 I have to echo Bill's comments. I also love the look you got with the 3200. All in all, a magnetic photograph. Link to comment
james___ 0 Posted June 5, 2001 Great expression and the slight softness really makes the image fit the title. At first I felt the lack of detail in the shadows hurt this image but after coming back to it, I feel it really helps. Great exposure. My only criticism is the crop. The area at the very bottom of the image, starting right below the bottom of the string of pearls isn't needed in this image at all. It's wasted space and detracts from the balance of the rest of the image. Great model and good photography. Keep it up. James Link to comment
james___ 0 Posted June 5, 2001 One other thing about this image. The bright area above and behind her could be brought down just a tab. And if you are printing this, try the burn with as soft a filter as you can. It will soften it even more. James Link to comment
thisthing 0 Posted June 8, 2001 This looks to have much sharper grain than my photos with Ilford 3200. So I was wondering how you achieved the relatively sharp grain in this file. I have no darkroom training or intention of getting into the darkroom soon, so if there's anything I can ask the lab or printer to do to get my images sharper with Delta 3200, let me know. Thanks.
