tapper1 0 Posted November 4, 2003 In addition to the normal critique, please advise on what PhotoShop work should be done. Thanks again. Link to comment
relaymod 3 Posted November 4, 2003 oh wow! the colors here are fantastic! the only thing that bugs me is the darker region at the bottom of the photo. I would perhaps crop out the lower half of the rocks. they contrast too sharply with the rest of the photo. photoshop work? it is hard to say. what are you trying to accomplish with photoshop? I typically use gimp (like photoshop, but a little slower, a bit fewer features, except that it is completely free, see www.gimp.org) to fix up artifacts, such as from a bad scan, dusty negative, or the like. I don't see any of that here - so if I were you I would leave it as is. Link to comment
sunapeephoto 0 Posted November 5, 2003 Nubble Lighthouse is frequently photographed and you have done a good job here. Colors are fantastic must be shortly after sunrise. The whites on the lighthouse and side of the house are slightly blown out so you might try darkening them a bit in photoshop. Good job. Link to comment
dave_k1 0 Posted November 6, 2003 This is an excellent Shot. It almost has a surreal look to it, which I like. The whites are on the edge, none the less...Just a Beautiful Image. Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted November 6, 2003 Good subject, but the contrast is too high Link to comment
rubens_abboud 0 Posted November 6, 2003 Overall nice. I would suggest cropping out the dark rocks below the high-tide mark at the bottom. I also find the large cloud on the left somewhat intrusive. If you're not against using PS, I would suggest cloning it out. Nice colours. Link to comment
francis_cailles 0 Posted November 7, 2003 Fantastic image! love the vibrant colors, and your composition is superb! I would suggest cropping out the dark rocks, and that unfortunate cloud on the left is quite distracting. You can clone it out as suggested...beautiful work! Link to comment
robmiller 0 Posted November 7, 2003 This is a great shot. The colors are so vivid that it almost looks like everything's plastic. Link to comment
heh4o 0 Posted November 9, 2003 One of the best shots it ever got. Excellent colours...maybe huts were recently repainted:) Link to comment
