Hi Brice, I find the sense of depth and randomness quite pleasant and greatly enhanced by the choice of colors that work well together. Being a gear head, I caught myself looking for signs of the same flower rotated and resized, but quickly stopped to just allow myself to enjoy an image that must have taken quite a while to make. As a matter of personal taste, I would experiment with the black background which gives me a sense that something else might work better.

I like the the black background myself. I think it enhances the colors.

Tracy - Colors, sizes, and orientation were adjusted using layers in Photoshop.

 

Michael - I will try another background the next time I do a composite. In the meantime, I feel the black background provides contrast to the various colors used.
