A beautifully tranquil scene, and with such cooperative models! I like the colors a lot--it feels like the Spring-side of Winter. I also like the composition--that dark, wintery forest makes the perfect backdrop, and sets off the cattails beautifully; that, in turn, makes the cattails into a really effective foil for the swans. My eyes keep coming back to the swans, but then they wander back to explore the cattails and the forest, then back to the swans and the foreground--this is a very satisfying image.

AJ - - I could be extremely lazy and just note my agreement with all the previous comments. However, you and this image deserve more. What immediately drew my attentions the white of the swans. That was fortuitous, since it also afforded a look at the very interesting reflections. - - michael
