ciofalo 0 Posted November 3, 2003 The image is unsharp and severely underexposed. The thing her face is resting on (cushion? arm?) is distracting. Extreme close-ups do need some make-up (unless the subject is an old fisherman from the Lofoten islands). Link to comment
ivo_miesen 0 Posted November 3, 2003 At night and under an open sky, it's a bit hard to get both the background and the subject exposed. Remember that not everyone is shooting portraits in a studio. Personally I prefer portraits of people without make-up, in a natural setting. Ivo Link to comment
