The Flying Branch

Todd, this is a wonderful shot, it makes me smile, at first i was thinking "what is this?" then I looked again, great shot, and great eye for seeing it..

superb, and you even lucked out to have a small cloud balance the opposite side! fantastic.

I bet at least half only see some leafs on a branch.

Thanks for stopping by. Yeah I don't know, I really like this image, but it hasn't really generated the interest from others that I had hoped. I thought for sure it would at least be considered "original". Perhaps some people only see leaves on a branch as you stated, or perhaps they see the plane that I saw, and just don't think it's original. *shrugs* Oh well, I still like it. Cheers,

Great! I wonder why some people put low ratings on originality in this photo...I would like to see in their portfolio the same level of originality!

This one somehow lacks balance, and it looks though as if it was taken on a whim.

Wow, Todd - great photo! When I saw it in thumbnail, and even when I pulled it up for the first time ("medium" size), I thought you had done this by creating an airplane-shaped layer in photoshop using a photo of fallen leaves. Imagine my surprise when some of the comments mentioned branches -- and I finally saw the branches in "Large" size view. Great imagination... and I really like the "leavin' on a jet plane' position of the "plane" flying out of the photo.
