The patterns in the sand are beautiful! The extra shadow in the foreground really helps to bring them out.

 

I like the other version the best. The horizontal resizing makes the pattern look a little bit distorted I think (though I doubt if I would have noticed it without seeing the other version).

I see fabulous color, composition, texture, depth, and patterns. From looking through your portfolio I'm very impressed with your ability to find all of these things and bring them together so well in your images.

Hard to find anything that could have been done better.

Enough details in all places, sky is not too saturated, the person is exactly were the eye is attracted to by the composition and the patterns in the sand.

fantastic feeling of open space. i really love the ripples in the sand, and once again, you've got some nice rich colors.

A really strong image. You must have been up very early or late in the afternoon to get this nice contast, adding to the impact of the image. My only suggestion would be to clone out the person in the background, or to have taken two exposures to bring out the detail in the person.

I love the alternating angle of the ripples vs. the dunes...
