Sam_Ryan1664884851 0 Posted February 9, 2017 Martin, fantastic image! Great perspective, color, and overall scene. I can feel the hush that comes with falling snow. I was thinking that you might want to play a bit with the lighting of the path into the trees by subtly burning that area in to further pull the eye into the trees and, perhaps, make the bright stars a little less dominant. Not sure if it will add or detract, but maybe interesting. Sam Link to comment
patflynn 0 Posted February 10, 2017 I have never seen your work before, sir, and honestly I have no idea what world I am in now with this new Photo.net interface. So far I hate it. But I just love love LOVE this image. I really wish it were mine, and thanks to you, something like it someday will be. It is so beautiful and ethereal and wistful and dreamy - so much like what I aim for when I shoot scenes like this! Thank you so much for posting it. My one critique would be that I wish there weren't snow tracks into the forest bisecting the middle foreground. I am shameless, and I myself would fix that in Photoshop. I don't know your sensibilities, but whatever they are I respect them. And I admire this work regardless of any of that. It is excellent. Link to comment
