Hans is certainly a willing and wonderful model and you pose him so well in your pictures. Another winner. This one is really good.

The b/w work is classic, along with the winter scene and, of course, a faithful companion.  This needs to be transferred to canvas... Mike

David this is very artistic. As already stated the b&w tones are great. It's your positioning and the resulting composition that makes this outstanding.

Thanks very much Jack, Mike, & Holger.

This is a favorite waypoint in a hike around the lake, and this time Hans held still for a moment.

A perfect place for a photo in whole season and we know this from you.Hans has a splendid posture as must be for his breed.Seems that winter is strange there, lot of fog and low clouds, half frozen water.

Thank you Radu.  Yes, the winter has been strange - with as you mention many cloudy foggy days. we have had less than 4 hours of sunshine for the entire month on January.  A fresh snowfall last night though - about 4" of new snow has changed the scene dramatically.

Best, David

Hi David. beautifully captured and composed with great details and b/w tones. Hans looks like a GSP breed (German Shorthaired Pointer) my parents used to have them when I was a child. Great work. Best wishes. Sarah.
