Ned Kelly

Painted with light: I had to hire out most of the items in the picture. The magpie and Wombat from the Musuem, these 2 items symbolise the big necked wombat and fat bellied magpie written in the Jerlidee letter that Ned Kelly wrote, in reference to the police who were after him. I feel that Ned was persecuted by the law and thought himself unjustily accused, therefore the halo, a martyered man. The green sash, he was awarded it when he was a boy for saving a Councils man's kid from drowning. So Bravery and honour comes first...then the gun. The skull on a scale depicts the number of skulls presently existing with 3 people, claiming they currently have Ned's skull in posession..so which one is it? :) I may have got certian facts jumbled up but this photo was soo much fun, I cant wait to do something else :) Enjoy!
