Eli considers a way forward across a washed out beaver dam - with a

battered but living Cherry tree in the background.

Thoughts appreciated, David

Whether it's the composition, the tones and/or subject; this looks like a painting, not a bad thing, just different.  Looks great though and I hope Eli made it across... Mike

David,  I am a sucker for dogs and dog images.  This one has nice mood and composition.  I really like the broken tree and its shadow too.  Well done.  Larry

This thaw wold be good in March not in Jan. when snow must cover every thing and water to be frozen.Nature this year is upside down.I like Eli posture and contrast color with all that water weeds.I think this broken tree I have seen it in another your photo,is a very good subject.

best regards

Thank you all very much for your positive remarks.  Much appreciated!

(Mike, Eli chickened out and backed out of there shortly after this photo).

Best, David
