If anyone's worked with this type of film before, I'd appreciate

comments on how to get better contrast in the foilage. I have two

other shots in my portfolio as well...any input welcomed. Has anyone

done portraits in this?

I've only used infrared Ektachrome. But this is how the bracketed one stop over exposure (+1) always looked. Try doubling the ISO.

I like the idea, but im a little sceptical i use infa -red loads and it almost seems that because its so crazy and differnt every picture seems cool so this is cool as well i might have gone for a darker backgroground but thats just how i see, i like using it harshly to create a kind of nightmare world. Ive just got a few questions. What was the film EIR if so its E6 did you brakect your exposures, did you use a yellow filter. Also i think Kodak have brought out a C41 print film infa-red but its not avalible here in the uk but i think its avalible in the states have you tried it and whats it like. And to clear up the film type debbate thing, i think that the knoica infa-red is bw and i think kodak are the only people to do colour. Oh and ive got another question when i do infa-red i get strange scratchs all over the transparenceys do you? sorry about my spelling

I have shot portraits with this film, you realy really need an IR filter to shoot it well. the filter will drastically improve the contrast as well...Also good light still applies when you are shooting IR...don't try and shoot this stuff in the middle of the day. You can get some really cool results with this stuff. If you limit to foiage in your shot it won't be so pink...but in this case I like it
