This is nice and well composed. The road line leads into the image. The green looming mountain backdrop is powerful yet soft, perhaps it's the green making it less rugged.

Tommy,  I like this too.  The road creates an effective composition.  I'd get rid of the little bit of sky at top right, probably by carefully cloning in the green.  Happy New Year.  Larry

One of my favourite subjects and such a nice setting;Choice scene with the ondulating road leading the eye to the nice church.Good work!

Tommy, I like it, but it doesn't wow me. Not sure whether it should - it's a nice, peaceful scene which probably shouldn't wow in the first place. :-)

I agree with all the previous comments: the curved road leads to the church, the strong diagonals of the hillside I like them all. Since I wasn't blown away at first I thought hard what I might do differently, so here are my two cents: In my opinion, the white gate competes with the church a bit. I would prefer not to have it in the frame. The curved road leads to some lonely church ... Whether it is possible to have the curving road without the gate  I don't know. I might have tried to climb that little wall on the right of the gate to get the curving road and omit that little sliver of sky. Ideally I'd go for the church, the curved road and the green diagonals of the hillside. Would it work? Maybe, probably not, but I thought I''d  share my thoughts.
