g. 0 Posted October 30, 2003 Sorry... I wish I had more to say, but.... I think PERFECT pretty much sums it up. Link to comment
Uhooru 2,207 Posted October 30, 2003 Nicely done, soft lighting is cool, yet dramatic as you let everything but the face go pretty dark. Really beautiful soft look to it (I don't mean unsharp), but the quality of the light. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted October 30, 2003 Beautifully done, has a very nostalgic "50's" look to it. She looks like a cross between Marilyn Monroe and Jackie-O! Link to comment
zebban 0 Posted October 30, 2003 This image image is from "60's". Imagestyle and model highly affected by Carnaby Street fashion and the Swinging London. Inspiration: Rickard Avedon, David Bailey and the great swedish photographer Hans Gedda. Link to comment
keaggy220 0 Posted October 30, 2003 A portrait like this does not happen by accident. Well thought out and perfectly executed. Link to comment
ajpn 0 Posted October 30, 2003 So retrospective, and yet completely individual... both photographer and subject deserve full compliment. Link to comment
hashim a 0 Posted October 31, 2003 Agree totally with -- G. Mills. Hard to pass this photo by without clicking on it. Outstanding work. One of the best portraits I've seen on the site lately. Link to comment
ptucci 0 Posted October 31, 2003 ...and we can't help but ask ourselves, if we had a similar model budget-could we make such a beautiful image? Well, I like low key portraits, so I might have ignored the meter, but would I have put on a 50mm and gotten real close? Probably not. Would I have gotten the light to graze her left cheek, been able to get an enigmatic smile? Well, its something to strive for. I thought at first the shadow on her forehead was from a windowframe, and when I found out it was that hat, well, I wished I hadn't noticed. This will go into my very selective favorite photos folder. Link to comment

jose_soler_ochoa 0 Posted October 31, 2003 In my humble opinion, a perfect, classic portrait. As somebody said before, it is hard to pass it by without clicking to see it in detail. Link to comment

glenn_blaszkiewicz1 0 Posted November 1, 2003 This one rate up there with the type of photo we all "hope" to take, but probably never will. Truly perfect. You can now sell all of your equipment since you will never top this:-) Link to comment

e._r._averitt 0 Posted November 1, 2003 Perhaps if you had received a dime for each click by someone viewing this masterpiece, maybe you could of kept your camera equipment. Nice photograph, well done. Link to comment
marcus carlsson 0 Posted November 1, 2003 I just say wow. The beautiness of this girl is just too much. The lightning is perfect and I like the position of her and that you have used a square to emphisize the calmness. I have seen lots of your photos and I wasn't surprised when I saw this one. You ARE a great photographer Link to comment
