andrewdawsongallery 0 Posted October 31, 2003 Thanks everybody! It's one of my favorite spots in N. Vermont. With no houses along any of its shoreline it's always incredibly quiet there... :>) Link to comment
ciofalo 0 Posted November 14, 2003 This is a nice shot, but honestly I find it rather sad that a relatively straightforward landscape like this - something even I might hope to take - has received higher ratings than your much more original, difficult and skilful underwater photographs. I hope you agree. Link to comment
andrewdawsongallery 0 Posted November 14, 2003 Yes Michele, the irony is not lost on me... A shot I took while taking a walk after dinner ranks higher than the ones I travelled around the world to get! In the end, the difficulty of getting a shot shouldn't matter to the viewer, but you'd think the unusual subjects might make a difference. I've noticed a general trend in photo.net that way; landscapes and bare breasts get the high ratings, and everything else is 2nd fiddle. Good thing we enjoy photography for the right reasons... :>) Link to comment
