Picture postcard shot! The colors of the boat and the rowers couldn't be better!! Loved all the Fall images in this series. 

Perfect composition, how lucky to have the canoe at just the right spot.  I think it would look just as impressive with straight up processing (but you know how traditional I am).  This got a "Wow" from my wife... Mike

First and foremost, Tony, congrats on the POTD.  It is entirely well deserved.  

These colors are so incredibly vivid that they leap off my screen.  They account for magnificent reflections as well.  Because of your composition and POV, there's an area of highlights on the water that separate the reflected colors from those of the trees.  Additional interest is furnished by the canoe and its passengers.

Extraordinary work . . . into my favorites.

Every once in a while I move closer to  a painterly style like this one and I get the feeling that most people prefer the 'straight' version. I do have another similarly styled one which I will load shortly.
