Coho 2 Posted September 5, 2016 Catching a bird at the shoreline is nice and it is always best to be right down at the same level as the bird that this is not always possible. In this case, there was a very steep embankment. I tried to do my best with depth of field but the background here is a little distracting due to the rippling of the water. The light however was quite nice as this was taken in the late afternoon. Link to comment
Sandy Vongries 34,392 Posted September 5, 2016 You are getting beautifully crisp shots, I particularly like the sunlight / water diagonal in front of the bird. I'm no great fan of PP, but just darkening the bubbles or smoothing right around the head to about mid back, and you'd be home free. A very nice shot of the bird. Link to comment
