you must all be the same height, hat or not!

this, obviously, is what keeps the hat men and the uncovered men from ripping each other to shreds.

if necessary, the tall ones should be in back.

i like the sky, but the ground is a funny green, i would have said. j

Welcome and thank you, Patsy!

I don't know what he actually said, maybe he said that this picture shows something about the time in which we are now?!

Cheers

So the guy on the right was taller, I thought he added character and diversity;-)....but I guess he might be considered distracting in some circumstances. I always enjoy your work PD.

I don't know, Gail!

The much taller guy somehow dragged attention from the main subject which is to be the duelists!

Thank you

It's odd though - I was not drawn to the taller man  - I was drawn to the 'duelists' right away - I observed the 'hat men' but they did not see to be the main subject to me - but we all see things differently - I guess that's what makes us each unique.

Dear Pierre, it's the image of a duel, which in principle can confuse us a little because of its magnitude. Who conquers Death? no one.

In this latest version, the blade of the scythe is already on his forehead. The smart thing would be that the man let himself "be killed" ... yes! you heard right, sometimes one has to let things go, to let "the inevitable" occur and stop a phase of suffering.

Then, once it's all over, Death will go ... to terrorize other poor souls. So, one can continue doing everything that wants, even more freely and happily.

It's a bit my spirit in relation to Life at this point. "Let the inevitable happens" not even give any importance, and after, continue still "doing the same" because our inner is virtually unchangeable, it will be those 21 grams we all lose when we start our trip. With those grams even Death can do nothing at all. Better to choose carefully which problems to solve or which battles to fight respectively.

I do not know ... but I hope my thoughts and perceptions about this artwork will help you. By the way, it is an eerie sky and spectators maybe may not add anything extra to the scene; There are viewers ready for all.

Go ahead with your art, gives great pleasure to see your works published and uploaded, continue publishing.

Good luck and best wishes, Laura.

The content is great but what I really like the most is the men in the foreground...i think cropping them the way you did Pierre was done very well and I like the differences between the men with hats and the two without as well as the sameness when it comes to the suits they are wearing...very cleverly developed...your friend....David

Thank you for your very interesting observation, Laura!

Jim, fighting for life under the eye of the west and east maybe suits better!

Thank you for your comment, David! It was a real effort to arrange the public!

Cheers

The dark figures dueling is what caught my attention. One can put many interpretations on them: current USA politics or the person with the gun trying to get rid of the Grim Reaper and have immortality. Then there is the gray sky indicating that a big storm is brewing. This is very well put together. Well done.
