This is great! Nice tones, good composition, nice lighting. That expression is great. I think the dof works in this case. Wish the thumb wasn't cropped but I think that's a minor point.

Julie has added an exceptional dimension with the forked tree and the inclusion of her hand. The expression on Kenneth's face is awesome in its original sense. Well done.

Just wanted to express my appreciation for all the compliments. I tingled when I saw this one. Of course, it's my baby, literally, and artistically. I too was disapointed when I saw the cropped thumb, however, I was delighted when I discovered that my whole thumb is on the negative. Going to have a nice print made, which includes the rest of my thumb.
