nino1 0 Posted February 16, 2004 Erin, you took a great moment and i really commend you. Maybe you could have underexposed the flashlight a little bit, but it is anyway uninport for the final result of this very good image. Link to comment
twmeyer 0 Posted August 18, 2004 Yeah! Great catch! Exposure, framing are excellent. Context makes the shot. I might add some blue or red to help her skin tone... t Link to comment
george ewald 0 Posted October 7, 2004 This is a great shot erin, but you used flash and a wide angle lens. You must have been really close. How did the dancers react to your presence? Link to comment
erin.e 0 Posted October 8, 2004 Thanks for the kind comments every one. George, there were chairs placed around the perimeter of the hall for spectators and contestants that were that were not dancing. I sat myself down in a conveniently placed one, that offered a good perspective of the hall, for a while. The Kodak DCS 520 I used for this image is a rather large and impressive camera. People presume that because you hold it, you can use it correctly, and exhibitionists will act up for you unbidden on occasion. This particular couple came up real close every time they passed me, posing really. I did also capture images of other couples and the flash did not seem to bother anyone. Link to comment
