The Canyon

There are many canyons in the world but just one Grand Canyon.

growing up in it's shadow has at time lead me to slight it's depth and

beauty, but one of my many trips to it annually renews my awe in its

beauty.

One thing I noticed about the canyon is that it takes on a different perspective during each hour of every day.

It's always shown me that it's a different world every time you look at. Truly a marvelous place.

Gary,  I agree with both you and Tony.  Light has an amazing influence upon how we see.  In this image, you use the haze advantageously, creating a pastel mood.  I also like the aqua look of the river water.  You are fortunate to live nearby this wonder of nature.  Larry

Thank you for your comment Larry. hen you have a canvas the size of the canyon many elements can come into play. Living on it's door step has been one of the greatest joys of my 76 years.
