I love it! I like the strong, bold shapes, and the fact that the darks are arrayed in a horizontal line across the center that rests on the light triangle formed by the centerline of the road; and the dark crack along that centerline is delightful--it makes that light triangle work even better. The way you've positioned the silhouetted figure and the sign is wonderful, and when I looked closer and saw the enigmatic exclamation point on the sign, I had to laugh, and have been smiling ever since. I like the sparkly texture of the road surface on the right a lot. In an ideal world, I probably would have liked to see just a bit more of that sparkle on the near left road surface, but I realize from the position of the sun that it just wasn't there. Anyway, it's a wonderful image, and it really does define "street" photography!

It is indeed a very effective composition for the eye, so well executed in B&W. I'm in total agreement with Leslie: the result is a wonderful image.

Interesting  picture Siamak, the black and white works well here.  I like the strong contrast too and the angle of shot.
