Looks like you've met your counterpart on the street who seems to be decked out for an urban photo safari. The woman with the stroller and baby on the left is worthy of her own picture. Indeed the whole picture reads almost like a triptych.

two pistoleros cross paths, and certainly while weighing the other’s presence there probably was a recognition in each of their shared passion. I absolutely love the eerily Philip Seymour Hoffman look-alike hombre, checking you out with intent. There is much style about him, a PSH glow to be sure, as he stands there beautifully, cinematically, decked out for an urban photo safari. Yes, a triptych, and a most excellent shot Steve; the story’ amusing, and Philip steals the show, even though clearly you shot first!

Wow!  Phillip Seymour Hoffman!  I didn't even think of that.  Yes.  I only wish he were still alive, and maybe making a movie about an eccentric street photographer.

It does appear that he's dressed for an urban safari.  It calls to mind a quote from Sontag: "Just as a camera is a sublimation of the gun, to photograph someone is a subliminal murder - a soft murder, appropriate to a sad, frightened time.”  Here is a man accused of murder.  He stands bound and blindfolded (based on his pose, the dark strap-like cuffs, and his shades) ready to be executed for his crimes.  And you shot him.

There is so completely nothing to add to what's already written. Lovely quirky catch.

P.S. The "correct" forum-geekiness to do would of course post this photo to ask "what camera is this man using" - and kill this image in a perfect non-soft and ungentle way ;-)
