Skiing on Mt. Rainier Panorama

I got this shot at the end of a wonderful day of summer back-country

skiing high on the slopes of Mt. Rainier. We had made a run down the

Cowlitz Glacier, then another on the Paradise. All that was left was a

long traverse back over to Mazama Ridge and down to the car. I asked

my 3 partners to go ahead so I could get a shot of their tiny figures with

the late afternoon shadows and the distant peaks of Mt. Adams on the

left, Mt. Hood to it's right.
