Noon light is a bad light! Needs moderate fill in flash! The background has a not so pleasant screaming green color!

I understand the lighting isn't ideal. He was about 35 feet up in air and about 150 feet away. The green is the tree tops behind him. Thank you for your comments. I appreciate them.

I like this picture, I agree with PDE stated! The lighting is harsh (seems as if the picture was taken at mid day) Also the little guys eyes and facial features are lost in the shadow of the harsh lighting. I acknowledge though that outside lighting can be tricky. And the sometime, thats the best you can do!

Perhaps revisiting the picture at a lowers sun would provide a improved lighting. And reveal animal facial features. Animals of this category face tell so much, and can add a amazing element to a photograph.

But those are my thoughts!
