dave foster 0 Posted October 24, 2003 Great moment Captured. Is that the sun through the mist? Link to comment
colter_davidson 0 Posted October 24, 2003 Strange! I have a watercolor that looks almost identical to this, so of course, I love this shot! Have you tried cropping down the top? I like the dark, but maybe too much. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted October 26, 2003 Very impressive, and it works as a panoramic, too. Trimming the top off below the sun spot allows the one to concentrate on the delicate trees and the action on the water. Link to comment
armindo_lopes 1 Posted October 26, 2003 Some noise in the sky but the image is beautiful and has a great atmosphere. Link to comment
rothensilvia 0 Posted October 26, 2003 I wonder how this would look in black and white. Probably excellent or even better than the color shot. Link to comment
davidnoeledwards 0 Posted October 26, 2003 I wouldn't want to crop any of the black off the top. The black is like glue that holds the whole thing together. It anchors all of the lower contrast parts of the composition, giving them a solid foundation to hang from. Link to comment
jforno 0 Posted October 27, 2003 I was in Yellowstone last month. This is a great picture. Link to comment
Link to comment
bozeman 0 Posted November 10, 2003 I was very glad to see all your encouraging comments. For large-format camera, this was a very lucky shot to catch two pelicans taking off the river. I like this shot very much myself. Thanks again! Link to comment
