Strange! I have a watercolor that looks almost identical to this, so of course, I love this shot! Have you tried cropping down the top? I like the dark, but maybe too much.

Very impressive, and it works as a panoramic, too. Trimming the top off below the sun spot allows the one to concentrate on the delicate trees and the action on the water.

I wouldn't want to crop any of the black off the top. The black is like glue that holds the whole thing together. It anchors all of the lower contrast parts of the composition, giving them a solid foundation to hang from.

Se capta lo que se lleva dentro, no solo es importante la calidad de una toma fotografica, si no tener la sensibilidad necesaria para captar lo mas bello de la creación de Dios en su punto mas hermoso.

I was very glad to see all your encouraging comments. For large-format camera, this was a very lucky shot to catch two pelicans taking off the river. I like this shot very much myself. Thanks again!
