lauramarco 0 Posted June 5, 2016 Dear Pierre, I almost did not recognize you in your photo biography :-)It's not like your nose, neither your eyes ...aren't you, isn't it? I feel sorry for having delayed a little in paying you a visit: the whole series of this image is very good, very well accomplished.Another photographer told you that you manage "your own characters" like a child playing easily with a ball, that's... you bring them on stage or get rid, in a very special, unique style. My reading of this image would be the following one: "everyone follow their own interest, their accoutrement" selfishness of people, each one dedicated to him/her own story, just gazing their own particular navel. That's my reading, a personal one.Besides, we all love the use you make of the shadows. Do not stop your creativity, my best wishes!.A hug! con cariño, Laura P.S. by the way, what a chance! you're my comment on gallery photos number 1000 !!! very nice number, maybe a sign that we have to do the lottery (*_*) Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 277 Posted June 5, 2016 O, what a pleasant surprise! Welcome and thank you for your precious visit as well as for your philosophical comment, dear Laura! I rather not use the simple selfishness and or egocentricity as a motif for my works because repeating the facts about human selfishness becomes banal, after all we are almost all selfish or egocentrics at least. I am here presenting a situation, actual or imaginary spectacle and simply wonder about its acceptability in today's or yesterday's or in the history of the cultures moment! That would be all! 1000 comments is not much comparing to my 80.000 and more, but considering the longitude of your comments it may be a book, ha! Muchas abrazos PDE Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 277 Posted June 7, 2016 Thank you, Raymond! It's only the gal in the bath costume watching her shadow, no search for anybody! Cheers PDE Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted June 11, 2016 Pierre, This is reminds me of a Dali painting. It is a bit surreal. Is this really one image or one built of many pieces? Nice! Larry Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 277 Posted June 11, 2016 Welcome, Larry! I managed to count 16 layers watching the picture! Thank you for your visit and most flattering comment for the picture! Cheers PDE Link to comment
