The ultimate function of wearing a mask is the ultimate wish to be someone else for shorter or longer time. To be relieved of the burden of contemporary life and or to live our true self. Anyway, during the annual carnival we love to wear them living three days the king, or the women (if we are men), or simple be the idiot we are during our normal life. But this is a special mask, could have been the mask of a roman warrior. Hiding his fear or his real identity. So the enemy killed couldn't find him back in the hereafter for revenge. It is a very good shot, in the small frame you have stored all that is necessary to show the beauty of this mask, in a immaculate (how often do I use this word) black and white. Best regards,
