I agree, Stephanie. The image, in my opinion, has an abstract quality; it's hard to distinguish the tiles on which the subject is walking from those reflected on the water's surface.

An interesting picture that forces you to take another longer look to figure out what's happening. Like walking at the edge of the earth. Nicely seen by the photographer (and selector).

I feel this is not an ordinary reflection image. To me it is a fantastic creative presentation that was selected

because it is very interesting to look at it.

Congratulations Christopher.

I sort of got a sense of vertigo on first glance.

It's almost Escher like in its casual disoriented style. I bet if it was printed wall size it would for me at least amplify the dizzying vertigo effect. I feel like I could fall into the reflection and hang by the edge of the flag stones.

I didn't even spot the girl's reflection until Julie mentioned it. Wonder if there could be a way to bring that out without drawing too much attention and still look like a natural reflection of the girl.

Its as though the stroller will walk over the edge and fall off into an alternate world. Great shot. Fav!

The reflection really gives you a scary feeling, Chris. Like a feeling of falling. I love the composition because one part of the person is real and the rest is in the reflection. Very well done. Excellent timing, color and use of imagination and skill. A spectacular image. Best regards, Paul.
