Paddys Hole

eclectic image

This image was taken on T-Max 3200 uprated to 6400. This has given the perfect harsh grain for the subject. Some dodging and burning has been administered, but no real re-touching or maniuplation has been employed here.

A Shot of a collection of fishing huts on the mouth of the River

Tees in Nort Eastern England.

This collection of shots was taken on T-Max 3200 uprated to 6400 to

give the moody grainy effect.

I know not everyone's thing but I would be grateful for any

comments. Thanks Everyone

Love the messege the photo is trying to send out. I think th efilm grain is a great way to get there. I do think tha tyou used too much grain, it looks good especially in the sign, and houses. It is distracting in the sky, it is so extreme, that the sky is given a texture, that reads omre like a surface, then the smooth expanse that you are trying to convey. I believe the sky should seem like it goes on foreveer, instead it shot forward toward the viewer, because of too much film grain. I really like the balance of the photo, especially how the sign shoots way past the horizon line. sweet , i love it.
