AlainD 0 Posted April 7, 2016 Shot in Rausu, Hokkaido, Japan. Not sure that this is a white-tailed eagle juvenile. It could also be a Steller's sea eagle juvenile. Differenciating them seems to be difficult. Maybe a birder can help? Anyway, comments welcome! Link to comment

AlainD 0 Posted April 24, 2016 Thanks to both of you for your comments!Mike: sorry for the late answer. The eagle is on a jetty and I'm standing on the upper deck of a small boat. You'll find more explanation in the comments about "Steller's sea eagle (4)" in the same folder. Link to comment
charo 3 Posted April 25, 2016 Hello Alain. View in larger size, this image is amazing, I like everything here, the expression of this eagle, the plumage detail, the background with snow ... and so on. All images in the series are really good!Kind Regards,Rosario Link to comment
