White-tailed eagle juvenile

Shot in Rausu, Hokkaido, Japan. Not sure that this is a white-tailed

eagle juvenile. It could also be a Steller's sea eagle juvenile.

Differenciating them seems to be difficult. Maybe a birder can help?

Mike: sorry for the late answer. The eagle is on a jetty and I'm standing on the upper deck of a small boat. You'll find more explanation in the comments about "Steller's sea eagle (4)" in the same folder.

Hello Alain. View in  larger size, this image is amazing, I like everything here, the expression of this eagle, the plumage detail, the background with snow ... and so on.
