The Old Guard

Everything about this including the photographic treatment screams to me of the 50's like it popped out of some photo album.  

That gentleman knows a lot about you but he prefers not to declare those at this unsuitable moment. Still, we are free to read those from his eyes.  

Passing, passing, as we gaze helplessly....

He has noticed your presence Jack. Wonder what he is thinking. I am not familiar with Japanese facial expressions. For me he is just observing and weighing your intention. But surely I can be miles out wrong. Like the image with its feeling of the 50th but also because of your precise timing.

Fantastic juxtaposition of characters.

The ghost of W. Edwards Deming?  Or Eisenhower during a post war visit?  We have definitely taken a leap back to the 50's in terms of the vibe here.
