great capture! This was clearly one out of many shots, but it works... I would like to see a crop for just the chicks' open mouths and the parent.

Great natural history photo.

Can you tell me where it was taken?

I am particularly interest in how the nest was made.

This has got to be one of the most amazing photos I have ever seen!!! I am awe struck!

Some tech details are needed so we can all learn how this was caught. PLEASE!

This is amazing capture, i don't know how many frames you have fired before getting this one but I can see that you have pre-set everything to your advantage of this shot - clean background, superb lighting., even the simple distribution of green leafs above the subject help bringing out this wonderful image.

I would love to hear your view on your 10D, do you think it is capable of getting similar image ?

Very nice. I think I would like a bit of a quicker shutter speed to lessen the blur of the parental wings. Also, I am curious about the background. It's quite serendipitous that the only place that the green background showed up was behind the tree leaves and everything else showed up black. I'd also like to know what type of tree this is. The leaves look very much like a fern.

I can't believe the timing (or luck) to be able to capture such unique moment. I only seen three photos and hope to see much more. Impressive work! 7/7

Again, a wonderful shot. lighting is essentially perfect and the moment is captured also perfectly. i think the photoshopping is rather obvious (am I wrong?) with the background and although that strengthens the shot at first glance... it eventually reduces the overall effectiveness. Of course, as i say this, i don't know the original. i also come from a school of philosophy where natural history shots should not be embellished after developing the image(but that is just a personal choice.... that becomes increasingly complicated to follow as cameras themselves now allow such pre-'development' manipulations).

again, ettan, you have the eye. you have the patience. you have the luck (bird capturing fish from water), you have the perfect lighting.

if your marketting skills match your photographic skills... you may go far!!
