jasonsmith894 0 Posted March 14, 2016 Are the colors coming through too saturated (looks ok on my screen in PS, but when I convert to sRGB for the web the colors look a little icky)? And thoughts about a square crop? Thanks!! Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted March 14, 2016 I like the crop as is, although a tad centered, it's a very natural view. The colors do give the appearance of being slightly over saturated, but Fall colors can be that intense, only you know what you were seeing there. Just for comparison sake, I did a white point balance based on the brightest spot in the waterfall and attached the result. There's little difference to your shot. Regardless, a beautiful scene that you've captured well. Good work... Mike Link to comment
jasonsmith894 0 Posted March 14, 2016 Thanks, Mike. I was looking at the image on my phone and the colors were rendering a bit weird. Looks better on my monitor. Thanks for the kind comments. Link to comment
raddatzphoto 0 Posted March 14, 2016 Your suspicions are both valid, Jason. I see a great square crop here! Link to comment

stephen-whitehead 0 Posted March 15, 2016 Hi Jason,Great scene, the reds are definitely intense and I'm drawn to the trees upper right instantly. I wonder if it would be more pleasing and natural on the eye to read the image following the flow of water upstream, I think the square crop would help to make the stream the focal point if that's what you had in mind. All the best Stephen Link to comment
