"Why don't I look like that"?  Barney looks very cuddly and friendly.  Trusting that his time spent at the TV is quite limited - something I endorsed when my granddaughters were under my supervision.

This is not just another take on a kid watching tv.  As already noted, additional interest is due to seeing Barney in his native garb - purple fur (except for his belly and toes).  The scene would be simply cute if the child were standing straight.  However, you caught him leaning forward, perhaps wishing he could jump into Barney's world, if only for a moment.  That world calls to him not only because of his infatuation with Barney, but also due to the cabinet's open doors.

Extraordinary . . .

Thank God we are well beyond this stage.  Star Wars is much more interesting.  Selective color makes Barney pop.  Well, not literally.  That would be a purple mess....

Very impressive image of a three or four years boy experiences with the magic box!! I wouldn't have left the colors on the screen, though!

Best

Thanks for taking the time to comment on this picture. I don't usually do selective coloring and I thought about keeping the whole thing monochrome but in the end how can you show an outrageously purple dinosaur in black and white?
