jasonsmith894 0 Posted March 2, 2016 I intended to convert this image to B&W, but starting playing around with toning while editing. I'm not sure how I feel about the image, though I do like the dreamy feeling it has. If anyone has any comments or feedback about the effect, I would definitely appreciate them. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted March 2, 2016 I think the toning worked well to give this a surreal atmosphere, anchored to reality by the two Gulls. Well done... Mike Link to comment

DavidTriplett 12,682 Posted March 3, 2016 Jason; I agree with Mike's comments. This is powerful in its simplicity, even elegant. The composition and balance are excellent. I usually decry horizons centered in the frame, but this will have to be the exception that proves the rule. The balance is perfected by having the last piling positioned near-perfectly in the center of the frame. Well done. Link to comment
stephen-whitehead 0 Posted March 4, 2016 Hi Jason,I really like the simplicity of the composition and the subdued colour palette works tremendously well. The cool blues and greens of the water look fantastic. The moonlight I think needs a subtle reflection in the water to take this image to the very highest level.Awesome job Link to comment
