This is a wonderful shot of a very contemporary young man. Your views of the Chicago city streets are always revealing and tightly focused. My work tends to bounce all over the place, sometimes I think to my detriment. Yours is far more disciplined and the resulting images are deeper.

Thank you Mario and Jack.  Discipline, Jack?  I wish.  I reel and stumble through the streets of Chicago, drunk on the wine of human energy that surrounds me. (Such florid prose on my part...shame on me.)  My discipline is to be there, and more recently, to intentionally seek out areas where the contrast of lighting (reflections from building windows, street corners where the sun comes through, etc.) is higher.  This was not one of them, but I just walk the streets and photograph something or someone who looks interesting.  And sometimes passing up opportunities because I am not "in the zone" and then later regret missing the shot. But thank you.
