So this guy twists the world around to line up with himself, and lo and behold Jack just happens to be there to photograph it. Amazing how this happens.

Photonet is lucky to be on the receiving end of this share.

Yes, a twisted photograph, and a nice little vignette. Excuse my ignorance but where is the Yodo river.

Awesome image Jack. The isolation of the player under the leading lines of the bridge does it for me. Another of your right place at the right time shots.

What makes this image for me is the sense of how the bridge unbalances it in terms of weigth. The angle, the depth or whatever else in the way you captured makes it so heavy in contrast with the lighness of the surroundings. I get the idea that if I printed this and hold it in my hands I would feelit much more heavier on the right side.

I remember this photo or one very similar and recall how much I enjoyed it Jack. It was wonderful to see this young fellow  - alone - but so serious about this sport I am sure means so much to him. Where he is placed in the image makes for a stronger image for me re the Perspective. I love seeing so much open space compared to the crowded city areas.

Among many things I love about this, Ricardo's comment about weight is one that I sense, but wouldn't necessarily have realized on my own.  Before seeing the title, the ballplayer's posture suggests he is in the middle of criss-cross footwork.  But there is something delightfully unreal and absurd in his perfect position under the overpass, in a seemingly empty field, the bridges balanced out by two more at extreme right and left.  It's just one of those wtf!? photos that delights me.

Great breathtaking scene indeed. What's essential to my eyes is his posture, wonderful line-up contour from head to right hand, parallel to the edge of shadow. His posture tells clearly about peculiar moment you managed to capture.
