tim_adams 0 Posted November 2, 2003 This looks great. The angle really makes it look like this is air to air. Way to keep the shutter speed low also so the prop didn't stop. Link to comment
julius_bergh1 0 Posted December 8, 2003 Added this one and a few others, to my private collection of great pictures! Were were you at the time? In a plane? Link to comment
erin.e 0 Posted December 8, 2003 This was taken from the ground Julius, as they made a low pass over the airfield, with a fairly powerful telephoto that cropped in tight. Link to comment
martinstott 0 Posted June 29, 2004 a lovly shot i know how hard it is to get a decent amount of prop blur. ? where you hand held or on a monopod , what shutter speed did you use. .martin Link to comment
erin.e 0 Posted June 29, 2004 Thanks for the comment Martin. I just checked out the EXIF data (one advantage of digital!) The shutter speed was reasonably fast for this one, 200asa at 800th 0f a sec with an aperture of f8, hand held with a 1.4 convertor, (448mm equivialent on a D60/10D) and some people reckon Sigma 70- 200 2.8 EX aren't sharp! I usually use aperture preferred auto in even lighting like this and adjust the aperture and ASA if nessesary to select an appropriate shutter speed. Erin Link to comment
martinstott 0 Posted June 29, 2004 check out my photos , most are shot with the cumbersome sigma 50/500 Link to comment
