I have many second world war pictures belonging to my aunt and this reminds me of those.  Very cool image.

Yes, this image makes me think of those in the last wars who bravely set off...........not always knowing of their Destinations.........and so many never returning. In many of the movies and real Documentary Interviews I have watched.........for so many it was what was 'noble' and 'right' to do . Many felt truly called to serve their countries. Some just young teens - never imagining what awaited them. But there are many who sacrificed for us and still do. I don't know that I could be that brave. I like the Textures used and overall Colour Cast of the composition.

Unknown …?

I guess it is very well known, to die or to inflict death to some one.

who will benefit from his suffering or other's suffering ?

definitely not him It's time to think about others as self both in joy ,agony, sacrifice and suffering. No one win a war, every body loose except for those who initiate and feed wars. I am writing those words from a point view of one who win a war very recently but lost his city and 40000 innocent people of its residence.
