Apparently, the tree had been there waiting to be photographed by you.

He might well have been a proctologist in his earlier life, by the way.

Thanks for your comments on this picture. It's the type of shot that sort of plays to my weird side and one that I'm well aware is not everyone's cup of tea. Glad to see that there are a couple other guys out there that find it kind of....amusing.

I have learned to expect the unexpected with you, Jack, and my expectations have been rewarded once again.  

It's like the Japanese Joshua Tree... darker than ever... Great work.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. Quirky scenes (well, they're really not quirky per se but they are to me) always have appealed to me. Here the odd combination of colors and shapes caught my attention. Maybe I should have called it "Finger Painting".
