".. I was lying", when I promised not to submit any more snails for a

while (he utters this line at least twice, once in "Commando" and

then, a a self-citation, in "Terminator-3"). I like snails too much.

In which category should these go? Nature, Fine Art, Pets?

I like this photo but there is something weird about the composition. The blue sky draws the eye very srongly, but there is nothing there and the eye falls away. Yet without it the image would look flat.

... this was visually weird even in the reality! It is true that one's eye is drawn towards the blue; in fact, I gave a thought to mirroring the image in order to stress the snail more (the eye seems to be preferentially attracted towards the right), but decided to leave things as they were. Incidentally, by mirroring I would have produced an impossible snail, beacuse each species has a given "chirality" (handedness) of the shell's windings!

The contrasting colors make this one very attractive. I believe that the one thing that really has me feeling off balance is that this snail is on aq vertical surface. He must really have some clingy subtance to keep him and his shell firmly attached to the tree. Very nice image.

a snail on a palm tree. thats something I havent seen. I think the blue is fine. I once laid in wet dirt and grass snapping shots of a snail. It was great fun. They didnt turn out as good as the fun I had.

I like the contrast of colour between blue and the yellow. Just a thought, it may look even better if you wait for the snail to move a little bit more to the right so the the head of the snailed is sticking right out of the blue :)
