Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 14, 2016 What would life be without its mysteries and the delicious speculation they draw from us. The answers are really not that important, contrary to popular belief. It's the questions that lead us on. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted January 15, 2016 A wonderful place. I have a b/w version from a similar perspective--I like mine and yours. Link to comment
aplumpton 16 Posted February 4, 2016 Jon, I wish I could see this larger, but already at this size your photo has a special ambiance. It a very fine photo. While the "long-stones" or menhirs lead us through and off the image to the left (and so substantiate in away their mystery), there is a tall object in the distance that furthers the question of these stones and this place. The clouds are also not sharply outlined but diffused, adding to the enigma and effect. I thought of the Avebury circle when I saw your photo, but this is a more natural setting. I wonder if you tried raising the light very slightly on the grass and on the stones, while leaving the sky as saturated or deep as it is. But the present effect is great and too much light might be unwelcome. Link to comment
