Not Here 93 Posted December 29, 2015 I'm not a great street shooter but I think this is excellent as is. A crop would likely remove the other shopper and the image would lose it's sense of place. The kid's expression is priceless and indicative of your (I perused your portfolio) quirky humor and ability to perfectly time the shot. Super work and the b/w is well done... Mike Link to comment

Bill J Boyd 65,164 Posted December 29, 2015 The crop is fine. +1 for MLM's comment above. Link to comment
LisaImmarco 0 Posted December 29, 2015 Think I might increase contrast a little and darken his eye area for the 'raging bull' effect, just a bit. Thanks for the comments, I was very unsure as to crop, and they persuaded me not to. Link to comment
MarieH 700 Posted December 29, 2015 Love it. Its ok as is. Sometimes the moment is worth more than perfection and this one is a prime example. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 1, 2016 Would have to see the original to comment on the crop. Certainly wouldn't crop it any more than it is, if it is cropped already. Nice moment. A real character, this kid. I could see darkening under the eyes a bit for a bit of effect. Would have to see how it enhanced (and if it enhanced) his expression. I wouldn't go too far, not for the Rocky effect seeing as how he's a kid and not an adult, but a little bit of burning on the face might add to the expression. Good moments aren't destroyed by adept and thoughtful post processing and many good moments benefit photographically from such, though it's true they don't always need very much. Link to comment
