colin carron 58,916 Posted December 26, 2015 I visited Jokulsarlon myself a few months ago - a great experience and photo location. Here I like the great depth of field you have captured with the TSE lens. A nice sense of movement in the foreground water. A good balance in the sky with the ND grad. I might just crop the top third of the sky as to me it composes better - but that is a personal preference. Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted December 26, 2015 Not only that subject is awesome but way you did this in three different colors creates a magic for this shot, compliments. Link to comment
JeffBryce 0 Posted December 27, 2015 Nicely balance composition, Alain. Great lines. I'd be tempted to delete the speck in the sky at right by the horizon (it may be a small cloud, but to some it could appear as a jumbo dust spot). You have such a fabulous collection from this day-- must be hard for you to choose a favorite! Link to comment

AlainD 0 Posted January 1, 2016 Thanks to all for your nice comments!Colin: that was my initial plan, so that the layers of dark grey, orange-light-grey and orange would have the same thickness. But I gave up this idea because I might use this image in an exhibition with 2 others photos in the same serie, and I would like all of them to have a similar 3x2 format.Jeff: I see what you mean. But it is a small isolated cloud, not a dust spot. I'll keep it like this because on a large print the confusion wouldn't be possible. Link to comment
