hivewasp 0 Posted October 16, 2003 Wherever I post this picture, people seem to ignore it and focus on an other photo I uploaded at the same time: a kitten. I still think this one is technically superior and would like some expert's advice on it :) Link to comment
j. kathy mccabe 0 Posted October 16, 2003 I'm no expert, but I'll be happy to comment on this beauty. The crop is good, the pose is perfect, the detail is great and I love your model! Whatever that is in the right forground below the cat's left paw is a little distracting, but that's being really picky. Link to comment
tc_reed 0 Posted October 17, 2003 It's like wow! This cat is so pissed it's ears went flat. Everyone stand back! He's gonna pop! Excellent composition! You have taken the perfect close up! Link to comment
linda1 0 Posted October 18, 2003 Very nice portrait of a kitty of this breed with the folded ears. What is this breed called again? Link to comment
hivewasp 0 Posted October 18, 2003 It's a silver scottish fold... I think. It's one of my brother's cats Link to comment

john falkenstine 1 Posted November 9, 2003 My old Siamese died about 1 1/2 years ago..when I got my first Apple computer (1991), this animal was totally interested, watched the unboxing and setup with total attention, and got very excited when the screen lit up. She was able to figure out very quickly that there was a relationship between the image on the screen and the keyboard and the mouse, and would manipulate the mouse while intently watching the screen...so you can guess that from thereon I always had major company when the unit was turned on. When giving instructions to my Engineering staff, I always told them, "my cat can operate a computer, so you can too." I like both of the pictures, because they go beyond "pet photography" and capture some of the personality of the animals without attempting a "cute" photograph.. Link to comment
