Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted December 19, 2015 Another haunting image. I have to remember, when I look up to keep my mouth closed.... Link to comment
human images 4 Posted December 19, 2015 valid point Tony --- I’ll remember. And I second your take on Lisa’s picture --- another shot with something that is unique to her view of things! Link to comment
MarieH 700 Posted December 19, 2015 I was at a bird sanctuary near here a couple days ago. I heard a lot of squawking but I couldn't see them, then I heard loud rustling and watched two flocks of Canada geese rise up in V formation and head south squawking all the way. I forgot about getting a shot and just stood in awe. By the time I thought of my camera they were gone. This reminds me of that. I guess you will see them soon lol. Nice! Link to comment
human images 4 Posted December 19, 2015 I forgot about getting a shot and just stood in awe. same here Marie. I too have stood in awe witnessing the intelligent precision of that fantastic V up the sky and have thought of the camera but never broke the spell to go get it. Religion is not my thing but I feel something of transcendence in moments like that and get carried away imagining joining them gooses in flight. I wanna be a goose; their lives so visibly grander! LisaImmarco 0 Posted December 19, 2015 Thanks folks. You really are too generous to me. You are bodhisattvas of compassion. I'm in awe of your generosity of spirit. Tot take time out of your precious schedules and write such beautifully composed comments.Always be honest with me though, if you see something that needs to be improved!Has any of you looked at 'Solitude of Ravens' by Fukase, on the web? It's unbelievable and one of the most haunting photographic essays of birds, his photographic infatuation with wife and other things, I have ever seen. Link to comment
